Club News

On Sunday 11th May Wraysbury Dragons will be taking part in our first international event since Moss Dragons took part in the World Corporate Games in Seville in 2002.

The venue is in and around Venice and will be the 34th in it's history.

The Vogalonga will cover the following route: St. Mark's Basin, canale delle Navi, canale della Bissa, canale Passaora, canale Crevan, Burano, Mazzorbo, canale S. Giacomo, canale Scomenzera, canale Bisatto, Grand canal of Murano, canale Tessera, rio di Cannaregio, Canal Grande, Rialto, point of the Salute. A distance of 30 kilometers

On Sunday 20th April we'll be paddling upstream to the Brocas, Windsor for a Vogalonga training session and picnic.Let us know you are coming, meet at WSPC at 9:45 with your picnic which will be transported up river by car. Don't pack too much food --- you have to paddle back!

    And we made it!

Some of us even did it all over again on Sunday 20th April. The weather was kinder to us and we even raised a smile in Romney Lock. Pam from BA Hurricanes came along too.
